Designed by Peter Rose and built by TS Williams Construction, with interiors by HB Design and landscape by Paul Sangha, “Qualia” is a meticulous coastal residence on Vancouver Island. The Crestron automation system installed by Wenner seamlessly integrates with the architectural design of the home — controlling lighting, heating, cooling, audio-visual systems, security, and window treatments throughout the house, with ultimate control at the owner’s fingertips.
Riding on top of the Crestron platform is a custom user interface designed by Intuitiv — a bespoke experience that matches the home’s hardware schedule, so the owner sees one app rather than seven, and the touch panels read as part of the architecture rather than fighting it.
The Crestron automation system provides the owner with unrivalled comfort and convenience. The system’s integration with the home’s architectural design enables the automated control of the window treatments, ensuring residents can bask in the breathtaking natural light while maintaining privacy. The system also enables audio and visual equipment to be discreetly hidden, and seamlessly integrated with the room’s design.
