Dogwood Mountain Homes
Custom home builder behind a series of recent Wenner-integrated residences on Vancouver Island including the modern oceanfront Coastal View House and the beachfront Seaside Hideaway.
Dogwood Mountain Homes is a Vancouver Island custom builder whose recent work has trended toward considered modern architecture with serious integration scope — solar PV, automated shading, full Crestron home automation, integrated outdoor systems. Wenner has been the technology partner on multiple Dogwood projects.
Projects we’ve worked on together
- Coastal View House — a modern oceanfront residence with integrated solar, automated shading, and a full Crestron control system. Interiors by Karly Parker Interiors. The integration scope includes outdoor living automation, pool and hot-tub controls, and a centralised platform that brings sustainable systems onto the same interface as the rest of the home.
- Seaside Hideaway — a beachfront residence on Polaris Drive in Nanaimo, interiors by Ivory Design. Complete Crestron home automation, power shading, distributed audio, lifestyle theatre, and a Kohler backup power solution for west coast storm season.
Why we work well together
Dogwood Mountain Homes’ projects almost always have a strong outdoor-living component — terraces, pools, exterior audio, decorative and security lighting that extend the home into the landscape. That requires integration scope that’s planned during construction, not retrofitted after. The Wenner team coordinates with Dogwood site supervisors early so the conduit, power, and structured wiring for those exterior systems is in place before finish work begins.

Working with Dogwood Mountain Homes?
Bring Wenner in early. The earlier the technology brief sits inside the design conversation, the quieter it becomes in the finished home.
