Architectural
lighting.
Layered lighting design for Vancouver Island's most considered homes — fixture specification, scene programming, dim curves tuned to the finish palette, and full-spectrum tunable LED via Lutron Ketra. Specified at the design stage, never bolted on after.
Lighting that respects
the architecture.
Lighting is the most powerful tool an interior architect has to shape how a room actually feels. Done well, it's invisible — you don't notice the fixtures, you just notice that the room works. Done poorly, every fixture announces itself.
Wenner's lighting practice covers the full architectural range: layered scene design (ambient + accent + task working as a single composition), fixture specification coordinated with the interior designer's hardware schedule, dim curves tuned per fixture so nothing flicks on at 100%, and full-spectrum tunable systems via Lutron Ketra and Crestron tunable LED.
We design and coordinate the lighting at the architectural stage — RCPs that overlay the architect's plan in the same convention, panel locations coordinated with the structural team, switch and keypad metals selected to match the rest of the hardware schedule. Then we programme the scenes and tune the dimming after commissioning, with the homeowner present.
