Audio and video integration in
Mayne Island.

Whole-home audio, dedicated theatres, listening rooms, family rooms that work for the kids. Reference-grade where it matters; invisible everywhere else.

Audio & Video Integration — Wenner-integrated residence in Mayne Island
Mayne Island

An hour from a working demonstration of the platform.

Mayne Island residences tend toward the restrained — modest custom homes on substantial waterfront sites. Wenner serves Mayne from the Victoria Experience Centre via the Swartz Bay ferry, with the same in-house design and management discipline as the rest of our Vancouver Island work. The technology scope on these homes is often lighter than a full estate — careful lighting, distributed audio, security, and a clean network — but the design rigour is the same.

Audio & Video

Audio & Video Integration.

AV integration in a luxury home means making serious systems disappear into the architecture. Speakers behind plaster. Screens that drop on a button. Acoustically-treated finishes that read as architectural detail. We work with the interior designer's materials palette so the room's silhouette is uninterrupted by grilles, vents, or hardware.

  • Dedicated theatres — projection or LED — with proper acoustic treatment and reference-grade audio.
  • Distributed audio across the home with invisible in-ceiling and in-wall speakers; outdoor zones for terraces and pool decks.
  • Listening rooms for two-channel enthusiasts, designed in at the architectural stage.
  • Video distribution over IP — single source to multiple zones, no hardware visible in the rooms.
  • Coordinated with cabinetmakers and millwork sub-trades so equipment closets and racks are designed into the home.

How we work

Pre-engineered off-site. Installed on-site by our team.

Every Wenner project follows the same disciplined workflow. The system is pre-engineered at our design centre well before it ships to site, so the on-site phase is dramatically faster, more predictable, and more reliable.

  • Rack builds and pre-engineering at our design centre. Equipment racks, control processors, network gear, and bespoke programming are assembled, configured, and tested at our Nanaimo or Victoria centre before anything ships to site — the system is essentially functional before it leaves our hands.
  • Wenner team on site for the critical phases. Rough-in, final install, commissioning, and testing are handled directly by the Wenner integration team.
  • One accountable party. Wenner remains the single technical and management authority on the project, in close coordination with the architect, the interior designer, the builder, and the homeowner.
  • The same long-term relationship. Same coordination during construction, same commissioning standard at handover, same aftercare through WennerCare.

The same workflow delivers Wenner projects far beyond Vancouver Island — most recently a completed residence in Mexico City, and an active project in Oregon through our sister company Intuitiv Spaces.
